The people behind Get Food Hub
Get Food Hub is a small, independent kitchen of cooks, writers, and recipe testers who believe good food should be approachable, well-explained, and genuinely fun to make.
Our mission
We started Get Food Hub because we kept seeing recipes that looked beautiful but fell apart in a real home kitchen. Our goal is the opposite: every recipe we publish is tested by real people, written in plain language, and built to work on a normal weeknight with normal equipment.
What we cook
We celebrate regional American comfort food — the stews, roasts, cast-iron bakes, and back-porch desserts that bring people to the table. We chase the stories behind the dishes as much as the dishes themselves, from Southern biscuits to Louisiana gumbo to Midwest casseroles.
How we test
Recipes go through multiple rounds in our test kitchen before publishing. We weigh ingredients, document every variable, and re-test until the method is reliable. When something can fail, we tell you how to avoid it. We do not accept payment to feature recipes or products.
